Louis Vuitton launched his brand "Louis Vuitton" in 1854. He was the first person to put his name on the outside of his trunks. He specialized in creating trunks for many travelers. Empress Eugenie, Napolean's wife wanted Louis Vuitton to create a trunk for her gowns, shoes and accessories. Empress Eugenie was a fashionista in her time so everyone looked to see what was the newest thing in her closet. Louis Vuitton's trunks created a buzz after her use.
